Kasthmandap

Known locally as Maru Sattal, this huge open temple was believed to be built by a single tree. This three storeyed buiilding has an open ground floor, underlining its original purpose as public building. The Central image in Kasthamandap is of Gorakhnath and at each of the four corners is an image of Ganesh constructed in 12th century and renovated many times.
